Preene Groundwater Consulting and Geoquip Water Solutions were invited to the XVI ECSMGE Conference in September 2015 to present a paper on Managing the Clogging of Groundwater Wells in Civil Engineering Schemes. This article summarises their findings and presents potential solutions to the impact of mineral contamination in groundwater wells. It also recommends the implementation of a regular maintenance programme incorporating BoreSaver, the approved range of borehole rehabilitation treatments.
