Picking the best borehole maintenance solutions

The Geoquip team has been out and about recently, attending both the Geotechnica and Fruit Focus industry events.

Each provided an opportunity to showcase Geoquip’s expertise in borehole maintenance and solutions for dealing with water problems such as iron-related bacteria (IRB).

Richard Knipe comments: “Attending shows such as these is an excellent way to reach new audiences as well as catch up with existing contacts, and we were very pleased with both the interest and the feedback received.

“In particular, many of the organisations we spoke to at Fruit Focus said they were considering turning to borehole water to help control both their costs and secure future supplies.

“We were able to promote the message that investing in a borehole is part of the solution, you cannot afford to ‘fit and forget’ them. Looking after a borehole is important to maintain the quality and quantity of the water over the longer term.”

Geoquip highlighted the energy saving benefits of the Franklin Electric High Efficiency System (HES), together with the latest downhole camera technology and bespoke monitoring solutions.

The Fruit Focus event, held at the NIAB EMR horticultural and agricultural research institute at East Malling in Kent, attracted a wide range of exhibition stands and also included talks, tours and working demonstrations.

The Geotechnica event was held at Warwickshire Event Centre and brought together different aspects of the geotechnical industry, including suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and clients.
