Mike Deed was recently invited to present his latest paper, Groundwater Asset Management in the Mining Industry, at the Ground Water Division Conference in Durban South Africa. Written jointly by Mike and Martin Preene of Golder Associates, the paper considers how best to manage the problems of groundwater contamination in mining environments. At the concurrent exhibition a number of enquiries about BoreSaver were received from the Western and Eastern Cape, both of which are prone to iron bacteria problems.
