Hospice care, or palliative care, means caring for someone rather than curing them.
St Helena Hospice exists to help local people with an incurable illness to live well and die with dignity and choice – our core services are provided for free and the majority of our work takes place in the community, in people’s homes.
The yearly cost to provide our services is around £8.9 million, we need help fundraising £6.2 million of that total.

We are pleased to announce that the Franklin Electric EHsp (self-priming multistage pump) has achieved WRAS approval.
The Franklin EHsp is the only self-priming pump with WRAS and the only pump in the market place to be manufactured using only stainless steel rather than plastic components.
