Will and Kieron from our production team will be taking part in this years 'Race to the Stones' on July 13th to run 100km in 24 hours as part of a fundraiser for Alzheimer's Research UK.
The full 100km route runs along the oldest path in Britain from Lewknor to the 5000-year-old Standing Stones in Avebury.
They will be taking on the 100km run in one go with no overnight stop. The course, includes a total elevation gain of 3,704 feet (1129 meters) so will be a true test of endurance for the guys.

Run Norwich is an award-winning 10-kilometre road race, organised by the Norwich City FC Community Sports Foundation (CSF), that takes place in the heart of Norwich’s beautiful and historic city centre. The route passes some of the city’s most iconic landmarks including Norwich Castle, The Forum, Norwich Cathedral, and many more. Mike Deed and daughter Lizzie were due to head to Tanzania on December 26 to climb Mount Kilimanjaro as part of a fundraiser for St Helena Hospice in Colchester.
The pair are already well on their way to raising a fabulous £15,000 but it has just been announced that the event is to be postponed to 2022. While waiting for the new dates, the fundraising continues – to find out more and see details of how to sponsor them.
Geoquip has partnered with international safe water charity Village Water to help reach more people with basic but life-changing facilities.
Village Water is a small team of 7 based in Shropshire. We’ve been working with local partners in Zambia since 2004 and Mozambique since 2016 to help improve access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education (WASH) for families living in rural, remote and low-income areas, and we’ve reached over 850,000 people since we began.

The Ipswich based specialist suppliers to the water industry, is selling 500ml bottles of hand sanitiser and surface spray sanitiser to businesses and individuals nationwide, with all profits being donated to St Helena Hospice to help local people face incurable illness and bereavement.
