The iC5 adopts a sensorless vector control algorithm, which improves not only the torque control characteristics, but also the speed controllability in certain conditions caused by load variation. Its auto tuning algorithm sets the motor factors automatically; this makes the traditional commissioning difficulties mainly in low speed by the load variation and the low torque generation a lot easier.
The iC5 provides PNP and NPN signals for external controllers. Operating at 24VDC regardless of the type of PLC or control signals. Communication is made by the optional ModBus-RTU for remote operation by PLCs or other devices.
