Applications
These submersible pressure transducers are used for water pressure measurements of saturated soils, boreholes, reservoirs and wherever it is necessary to achieve precise and fast measurements.
Two models are available;
VER-R
Relative Pressure Piezometer VER-R with hydrostatic pressure measures in slotted pipes, wells and dams. Readings are relative to the atmospheric pressure. The transducer diaphragm is connected to the atmosphere through a capillary vent pipe which is placed in the same cable used for the power supply and signal transport.
The piezometer can be provided with porous ring or frontal filter made of sinterized stainless steel or ceramic.
VER-A
Absolute Pressure Piezometer VER-A can measure pore water pressure in saturated soils as well as over pressure due to loads, road embankments, etc. Data recording allows to draw out pressure changes over time. Bar measure is not advised.
Both models can be provided with an RTD or a semiconductor temperature sensor.
Advantages
These transducers may be ordered with custom wire and full scale calibration. Electronic components with resin to assure a long term waterproof seal. Short delivery times available.
